Activity 2 - Discovering Aotearoa-

2 comments:

  1. Hi Taijah, this is Mrs Collins and I'll be commenting on blogs over the term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I like the post you created on "Discovering Aotearoa" and sharing about your family history. When we moved to New Zealand we had to leave all of our family behind in England, but they, and some of our friends, have been out to visit many times... Do you speak a different language at home? Keep blogging, and commenting on others to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes, and to keep up your learning over the school break!

  2. Kia ora Taijah

Welcome to the SLJ programme, "Changemakers: People who have changed the world" - so great to see you joining us, it's never too late to jump on board! Thanks for taking the time to tell us a bit about your culture - it's cool to read that you descend from the Cook Islands and are also Māori - where were you born?

Thanks for telling us about the Cook Island flag as well, I had no idea that the 15 stars were representative of the islands. Thanks for teaching me something new!
What activity are you going to complete next, I wonder?

Looking forward to reading it, whatever it may be!

    Ngā mihi nui
    Jordan
