  1. Hi Taijah, Mrs Collins again commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. Why did you pick the ACM? We always help at ACM event on the Saturday before Christmas and then on Christmas Day we serve lunch over 5 hours to others who don't have anything or anyone ... Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep your learning up over the school break!

  2. It is good to see that that you are participating in the SLJ Taijah. I am sure you have learnt a lot about Sir Edmund Hillary and Serpa Tenzing Norgay. I hope you will share this learning with all your classmates when you are back at school. Try and comment on as many blogs as possible to gain more points so that you can win one of major prizes.

  3. Good Evening Taijah,

I am Samuel, a Year 7 student attending Sacred Heart College. I am part of a trial period in which they are trying out students to be bloggers, which means it is my first experience with this sort of position. However, I did complete the Summer Learning Journey as a student in previous years.

I like your explanation of Sir Edmund Hilary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay. I loved reading about this topic when I was around 4 or 5, and I still read about it today. I loved how he made charity organisations that have thrived ever since. The work he started years ago has been upheld by these charity groups and I find that beautiful. Do you contribute to any charity work either locally or worldwide? I, in complete honesty wish I did more charity work.

The ideas and words you put to paper are great, however, maybe you could read over your writing, just to make sure the correct punctuation and grammer is added or removed. It is a real pain, paying to those small details, but it it is key to good writing.

Maybe, just for extra bling, could add some images to accentuate the brilliant writing you do. This is totally not necessary but i thought I'de mention it. Well done, Taijah, great work.

    Kind Regards,
    Samuel
